1. Developer ROM from here. (Note: Developer ROM only – Second Option in the list )
2. Fully Charged Mobile
3. PC (Windows or Mac or Linux)
4. Data Cable

TUTORIAL TO ROOT XIAOMI MI4 (STEP BY STEP GUIDE)

Step 1: Rename the downloaded DEVELOPER ROM to “update.zip”.
Note: Write all the alphabets in small letter. Don’t rename as Update.zip it won’t work.

Step 2: Now Open the Updater App installed on your Xiaomi Mi4. Click on menu and then Reboot to recovery mode and Finally ‘OK’.

Step 3: Voila.!! Your touchscreen is dead now.:P Don’t Panic, your touchscreen will not work in recovery mode, thereafter, it will work smoothly.

Step 7: Now you are back in the “Main Menu”. Now click on ‘Install update.zip to system one’. Again it will ask for confirmation click on ‘YES’ again.

Step 8: Once the updating is Finished. Follow the last step.

Step 9: From ‘Main Menu’ click on ‘Reboot’ > ‘Reboot To System One’
